Status Updates for New Liquidations

MutualAid Exchange (MAX)

The Association has received a large volume of loss and unearned premium claims. We are currently processing more than 440 property damage claims and have paid more than 3500 claims for refund of unearned premium.

Data and documents for property claims are currently being reviewed by our staff and contract adjusters. Policyholders and claimants will be contacted as soon as possible. Please call the adjuster assigned to your claim. If you have not been contacted by a staff adjuster, please send an email to claims@opciga.org. Include your name, contact number, and claim number or policy number in your message.

All unearned premiums have been reviewed and payments have been issued. If you believe you are entitled to a refund of unearned premium and have not received a payment, please send an email to claims@opciga.org. Include your name, contact number, and policy number.

United Home Insurance Company (UHIC)

The Association began receiving transferred loss claim data and documents on December 4, 2023 for property claims and continues to receive data transfers. We are currently processing more than 620 auto and property loss claims. We have paid more than 5000 claims for refund of unearned premium and are currently processing another 3200 claims for refund of unearned premium.

If you submitted a claim to United Home or the Deputy Receiver, you do not need to contact our office to resubmit your claim or documents. It will not expedite the process.

Auto and property loss claims for Oklahoma policyholders will be processed by Central Adjustment Company, Inc. (CAC). Payments will be issued by our office after receiving final claim reports and payment instructions from CAC.

Arrowood Indemnity Company (Arrowood)

The Association began receiving data on existing claims on January 8, 2024. If you have a question concerning a claim handled by Arrowood, please send an email to claims@opciga.org. Include your name, contact number, and information relevant to the matter of your inquiry. Please include the insurance company name, the claim number, and the policy number if available.
